this needs to be said

Why cant people get along and stop killing each other. no child deserves to lose their life, no mother, father deserves to lose their child, no one deserves to lose anyone that is family or loved. Yet it happens everyday.

In the UK alone (Wales and England) in 2002/3 - 1041 died (of which 80 were caused by a gun / firearm), in 2013 551 died, yes a massive drop but still way to many.

In 2012 worldwide 437,000 people were murdered. I don't want to bring a child in to a world where they are going to be murdered by heartless monsters.
As most know France was hit on Friday 13th. killing 127 people. The world showed respect and grief for those lost. But they were not the only ones this week that suffered attacks. But I didn't see people changing their Facebook profiles to flag of Beirut. It was a double suicide-attack that took place in Lebanon on Thursday and killed 43 people and injured 250.

Maybe it wasn't as important because of where it was or how many was killed but let me tell you something. Its not a contest they lost family too, they cried in fear too, they suffered too!

What about Baghdad Early on Friday, an Isis militant blew himself up at the funeral of a pro-government Shia fighter in Baghdad, killing at least 18 people and wounding 41.

Why should things be looked at differently just because of the situation is different. Some may live in a war zone already but it doesn't mean they deserve any less attention. They didn't ask for it just like France didn't ask for it.

We are all human, we all are people that rely on others, love others and sad but true hate others, but does that mean we have to kill them. We have gone through enough pain and suffering to last many life times, two world wars (please don't make it three), natural disasters, bombings, illness, shootings. People will never forget these moments peoples lives changed. But the moment they have the chance to get revenge its okay to kill. It works for both sides. The side we see as evil and the side we are on. They shoot our people so we will shoot theirs or bomb or gas revenge is not any less evil as the person who dished out the first bullet so fourth.

When did the world become scarier than death. when did homes become unsafe, when did weapons become more than hunting tools. When did children die before the parents, when did people become monsters! please some one tell me. please because I'm struggling to understand why people cant live in peace.

When will things stop, when will people open up their eyes, when will people start to feel again, when will people stop killing, judging, treating them differently.

Stop the violence for the ones you love, give them the life they deserve not the life someone else has chosen for them.

Stand up to what's wrong!

Does your heart hurt, is it hard for you to take it what a shit world we live in. shine some light on the world.

poaching

Cecil the lion pictured in Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park - 21 October 2012

Poaching is a deadly crime against wildlife. Wildlife officials say that legal hunters kill tens of millions of animals every year. For each of those animals, another is killed illegally, perhaps on closed land or out of season, leaving orphaned young to starve. Few poachers are caught or punished.

Poachers may also kill endangered species or use illegal weapons. Some poachers just love killing animals, or want a trophy.

With tens of thousands of elephants being slaughtered each year for their tusks.
Ivory trafficking and poaching kill 35,000 African elephants each year.

About 800,000 African elephants have been killed over the last three decades, according to WCS. Around 1,000 African elephants were killed between 2010 and 2012.
why cant we see that there needs to be something done about this. you cant just let it slide. like cecil's killer he was only mentioned because cecil was famous but what about all the other animals that are being killed every day and very few of the killers are found let alone charged or arrested for what they did.

charges for poaching

Currently, poaching laws vary by state. In Pennsylvania, while poaching is considered a summary offense with no chance of imprisonment, lawmakers are actively pursuing stiffer penalties and fines. West Virginia has lower fines but imposes stiff jail terms for poaching offenses. A third offense gets you a felony conviction, with up to a $10,000 fine, one to five years in prison and a lifetime hunting license revocation.

Ohio toughened its laws recently to include restitution values based on true-market value, fines and revocation of hunting licenses not only in Ohio but also in neighboring states [source: BuckeyeFirearms]. In Minnesota, the Department of Natural Resources cannot only confiscate a poacher's hunting and fishing licenses but also his boat and gear as soon as the value of whatever was poached hits $500.

Elephants, tigers, rhinoceros and Asian bears face the biggest survival challenges due to poaching. These animals have body parts that are considered highly valuable.

What I'm trying to say is why is murdering a human any different to murdering a animal. poachers plan to kill they go out there hoping to murder something. They are not doing it to protect themselves so they shouldn't be getting away with it.

saving the planet

You know when your parents or teachers ask you what you want to be when your older. I just said I don't know, but the truth is I didn't care as long as I was doing something to help the planet. even helping one thing was good enough for me. I've decided I'm ready to tell the world my plan, one more person helping is better than none, right?

We have less than a few million years left before the earth is no longer survivable. Which I know doesn't 'effect' you or even your children. But it will, we make it harder to live. The way we have learned to live is killing the thing we live on. Don't just sit there and say someone else will do it and it's not up to me. It is, even if it's just remembering to turn things off when there not in use, or recycling, throwing them away instead of throwing them on the floor so animals don't die from eating your shit, or strangling themselves.

I'm going to link this website. Something your already doing and you don't know it yet is saving the planet. http://www.50waystohelp.com/  simple things we can fit in to our daily life.

Want to know what we are doing wrong, or should I say contributing to the global warning factor. This website has loads of pages about different things to do with global warning it's worth a look.  https://www.nwf.org/Wildlife/Threats-to-Wildlife/Global-Warming/Global-Warming-is-Human-Caused.aspx

Some of these images are sickening but it's what's happening outside your doors. So just a warning for further scrolling. :)

But look how beautiful our world was, and the things on it.

(ALL PHOTOS TAKEN OFF GOOGLE.)

We have a beautiful planet so why destroy it just because we have developed brains. We need to act NOW, before we are the ones running away from extinction!

SAVE THE PLANET!

Something holding you back!

I was thinking and realised a lot of things are holding me back, so I thought I'd tell you all to see if any relate to you. To start with I have a lot wrong with me nothing deadly or anything, but still painful. From a very young age I was always in pain my joints would lock, twist, I stopped doing sports because they became to painful to do. I just got told it was because I was growing. Then a doctor told me I have benign joint hyper-mobility syndrome and my lower left vertebra was connected to my pelvic bone. A reason for my pain and discomfort! physiotherapy again! I always wanted to be a dancer but that's not going to happen now. I cant even walk up the stairs without pain, even sleeping become painful, to the point I cry.

To make things worse I suffer with anxiety. I always feel like I am being judged and looked at. I can't even run because my hip comes out so I get embarrassed when my friends are running about or anything and I'm just sat there or walking slowly behind. The wrong move can put me in pain  for weeks.

So that's three things so far that are holding me back. I could go on about other things but I dont want this to be unbelievably long.

So I'll leave you with this, just think for a minute, what's holding you back? what would you be going if it wasn't holding you back? is there away to stop it from not letting you do what you want to do? please feel free to comment. I'm sure we can help each other out.

Thanks,

Outcast

So the meaning of outcast is "a person who has been rejected or ostracized by their society or social group." Okay so saying I'm an outcast is a bit extreme but sometimes it feels so close you that. I cant be the only one that feels they are so different and will never "fit" in!

I never had many friends, and the ones I did have were so different to me we didn't connect. As we got older we moved apart and slowly it became clear that they couldn't understand me and the things I said and did. Too be honest I have two friends that I could tell everything too. But things have made that hard and I keep questioning my self. Lets call them thing 1 and thing 2. (cat in the hat ref) thing 2 is a boy and as things normally go, liking get turned into loving and loving gets turned into hating. People get in the way and I feel that I'd be one of them if I stayed as things got harder for me to hide it I told him and that ended badly ( never listen to people that say there's nothing to lose). BTW I haven't had a boyfriend in five years, hash tag cat lady! and most of my friends are in relationships or have just come out of one. Like is there something wrong with me. MOST LIKELY!!!!

Anyway losing track back to what I was saying before! The thing is the "outcast" make their own group therefore they are no longer an outcast because they fit into that social group. So I guess what I am trying to say is don't change who you are to try and fit in to a certain group. I tried and I can say it failed and I learnt that if people don't like you then tough sh*t! Not everyone has to like you and you will one day find people that do! It might not happen for a loooooong time but it will happen, and the more you believe it will the more chance of it happening.

Now I'm older I have decided to focus on me, education, job, family. I have longed to be happy with myself and thought if I changed with the media and ongoing change in the hierarchy but that made me unhappy. Be yourself even if yourself doesn't fit within a "group". be your own person, wear the clothes you want, eat what you like, become an astronaut or a chief, become a carer for the elderly. What ever make you happy. I tried to make my family happy but that made me unhappy so I am trying to get my life back, and hopefully you'll join me on my adventure to becoming me! and maybe it'll help you become you!

THANKS,

The start

Okay so I'm new to this so lets just start with the reason I want to start this Blog!

 okay here goes.

1. I want to help people that have been through the stage all teenage's go through. Life is hard I give you that! and no matter how many people say it will get better or just ignore it, it doesn't make a different to the fact you feel your life is tumbling down.

2. I want to be able to look back and say hey I remember that and actually be over it, even remember the good that came from it. I know sound stupid! But some things do make you more wiser, stronger, brave. They can make you better listener. You wont think that now but hopefully one day you will.

3. Why not! I mean why can't I just write about things that anger me, amuse me, scare me, make me happy. I always think that I the only one but this way I'll be able to show other people your not alone and to prove to me that I'm no different.

thanks,
